With Katie’s Dog Care (formerly Katie’s Dog Walking) I offer professional and flexible day care for dogs – 7 days a week. Your dog will be looked after in our family home at Little Woodend and only a small number of dogs will be cared for at any one time. There are 3 large, securely fenced dog paddocks for your dog to have plenty of fun, run and playtime during the stay as well as many beautiful walks in the surrounding woodlands and countryside.

I also offer dog boarding, which is the perfect solution for your dog whilst you’re away.
Whether it’s a long or short break you’ll be happy and confident knowing your dog is having a holiday too! (A trial night will be required. Non-shedding, female dogs only)

For all occasions a pick-up and drop-off service can be arranged.

Katie’s Dog Care at Little Woodend is fully insured and licensed under the Animal Activity License (License No.: MO47217) and has been awarded 5 out of 5 stars.
I am CRB checked and a trained Canine First Aider.

 

Let me tell you a little bit about myself:

I am Katie, a local resident to Markyate for many years. After a successful and much loved career working with children in nurseries (for over twenty years) and as a deputy manager in a local pre-school, I decided it was time for a change and started my own business.

I have always loved animals and have a special affinity with man’s best friend, the loyal and loveable dog. My love of dogs and the new addition to our family, Rudy – a lovely, adorable labradoodle puppy – sowed the seeds for my business plan and led me to create my new career in dog care. In 2014 I started with Katie’s Dog Walking and I soon had a solid base of regular and returning customers.

We fulfilled our dreams in having our own smallholding, when we moved to Little Woodend in 2015. This clearly added great benefits to my Dog Care business with all the fantastic space and amazing walks we have, right on our doorstep!
